KEATING iPod Nano Giveaway

To celebrate the launch of the new website we are giving away an iPod Nano! To enter the draw, just signup for the Official Keating email newsletter. Then recommend this site to your friends. The first time you use this form to refer a friend you will be entered one (1) time. Each other person who signs up for our emailing list from your referal will not only be entered in the draw themselves, but also give you another entry. There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit this way.

But remember, if you were signed up for our newsletter before this contest, you must invite someone using this form at least once before you will be automatically entered in the draw!

The iPod will come loaded up with the new Keating album - Still But Not Stopped and will be awarded after a random electronic draw.


KEATING iPod Nano Contest - General Rules and Regulations

PARTICIPATION

  • Anyone who wishes to participate in the contest must subscribe (or be already subscribed) to the KEATING enewsletter AND then invite someone to also join, between now and August 25th, 2006.
  • By inviting at least one person using the form on this page, the subscribed email address is automatically entered in the draw one (1) time. For each additional invitee who agrees to opt into the enewsletter both the invitee and the inviter will be entered one (1) time.
  • There is no limit to the amount of entries. Anyone who is subscribed to the KEATING enewsletter may invite people to join. Their first invitation will result in an automatic entry. A name who is already on the KEATING enewsletter list before this contest begins will NOT be automatically entered unless they attempt to participate in the contest by inviting at least one person. For every friend that you refer (having a unique valid email address) and that accepts your invitation by registering to our newsletter and contest, you will get 1 additional entry (with no maximum of additional entries) to win the prize.
  • If you are invited by someone to join the list, and agree you are automatically entered in the draw. You do not need to participate further to become eligible. You can gain additional entries by participating in the draw like others but are not required to.
  • No purchase required.

ENTRIES FOR THE DRAW

  • For purposes of this contest, 'receipt' of an internet entry occurs when KeatingMusic.com servers record the entry information resulting from the entrant clicking the 'Submit' button.
  • Automated entries (including but not limited to entries submitted using any robot, script, macro, or other automated service) are not permitted and will disqualify all entries submitted by the associated person.
  • To remain eligible, entries (defined as a valid and unique combination of an email address and referred email address who has accepted) must not unsubscribe from the email list until the date of the draw. Any email address that unsubscribes from the list will have all of their entries removed from the contest. Entries given to an invitee of a person who unsubscribes will also be removed from the contest (only those entries associated with an unsubscribed entry will be removed, not all of their entries).

PRIZES

  • There will be one prize awarded. The qualified winner will receive an IPOD NANO (1GB) (estimated value $200.00 USD) with Keating's album - Still But Not Stopped loaded onto it.

THE DRAW

  • Odds of winning: The actual odds of winning will depend upon the actual number of entries received for this contest.
  • Random drawing: There will be 1 winner. The winner will be chosen by random draw from all eligible entries. The draw will be performed electronically and witnessed by three people to be determined on the date of the draw. The draw will take place at a date to be determined. This draw date will be announced a minimum of 30 days prior to the event and will occur in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Subsequent draws may be needed if entrant does not claim his/her prize as outlined below.

CLAIMING PRIZE

  • Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to 1) correctly answer the following skill testing question: (18 x 6) + (121/11) - 13 = ; and 2) complete, sign and return a release form confirming:
    • compliance with the contest rules;
    • acceptance of the prize as offered;
    • Should a winner make any false statement(s) in any document referenced above, the winner will be required to promptly return to KeatingMusic his/her prize. Any unclaimed prizes will be awarded in a random drawing to be held as necessary. In the event there is a dispute of the entrant's identity, the prize will be awarded to the established email account associated with the entry.
    • By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these General Rules and Regulations the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding with respect to all issues relating to this contest. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied with all of the conditions contained in the General Rules and Regulations.

APPLICABLE LAW

  • The contest is subject to federal, state, provincial and local rules and regulations.

MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS

  • If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Keatingmusic.com, Keating reserves the right, at its sole discretion, and as permitted by law to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest and select winners from among all eligible entries prior to the cancellation. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this contest, or whom KeatingMusic.com believes to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage will be disqualified. KeatingMusic reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.
